The Covid pandemic was a strange time. I felt very limited in what I was able to do. As an introvert, it was hard to be pushed further inward. Sometimes you need to seek out some fun. Alongside with my partner Angel and Olive the dog, we ventured out on various day trips during the weekends.
I was brainstorming some new zines when Angel gifted me a polaroid camera. It all came together. The new zine would be made by taking day trips and using only 3-5 polaroid pictures through each trip, with some brief writing. I used whatever content I got, good or bad. It is intended as a step away from the excesses of personal technology. The way you can find answers to any question on your phone, and how you can take dozens of photos, altering them however you please into your ideal image. Enough of that! This is about taking a chance and appreciating what you get.
